Welcome to the sweetest of months. September marks new beginnings and with that comes great symbolism. This months birthstone is the one and only Sapphire!
Sapphires are the second hardest mineral on Earth and the last of the four precious stones on this list. Usually, when someone thinks of a sapphire, they imagine a blue gemstone althought they come in different shades and colors.
It symbolises creativity, positivity and expression! It is also a royal symbol of virtue, good fortune and wisdom. The Ancient Persians loved sapphires and even believed that the earth was created on top of one!
