This lovely artist is from Cape Town, South Afica.

..and not long ago he was inspired by the world of diamonds and decided to make an art series

inspired by their urban timelessness.

What we love in his images is the way he perceives the gem transforming it into something more than a luxurious ornament.

Kurt Pio was born in Cape Town in 1977. He completed his national diploma in Interior Design at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and had a brief stint in the industry. He pursued his painting career and currently works full time in his studio in Cape Town’s CBD.
